Students and Alumni ate food and mingled in the courtyard of the Skiles building where they listened to live music performed by the GT Salsa Club and watched amazing acts performed by the Magicians @ GT. Chess, frisbee, dominoes, and other games entertained the crowd. Thank the Eaton Corporation and GT Hispanic & Latino organizations for making this a successful event.

 July 15th, 2010 - GTHAN & GTBAO - Summertime at The Havana Club The Havana Club, 3112 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GAGTHAN paired up with GTBAO for a fun summer night celebration along hip-hop and latin rythms! Young alumni joined the celebration and toasted for great past and future times. Lots of fun!  Ruth's Chris Steak House, 267 Marietta Street, Atlanta, GA Great networking activity with other affinity group leaders and young alumni, unfortunately we didn't win the prize of $500 in the Young Alumni Challenge, we were present and learned from other organizations.  IBM Campus @ 4111 Northside Parkway NW, Atlanta, GA At this event we learned about IBM's Smarter Planet Campaign and how technology is being used to solve many of today’s challenges, we mingled with other hispanic groups present in Atlanta metro area. This event is becoming a tradition in our group, we celebrated the graduates and their achievements, enjoyed delicious cuban food and networked with other alumni, faculty and staff.  Cobb Galleria Center, Atlanta, GA Joining the Alumni Association stand in the career fair, GTHAN positioned itself among the companies participating in the career fair as well as the alumni attending.  Georgia Tech Campus, Atlanta, GA Unique physical and metal challenging experience in the zip-line facilities at Georgia Tech, while climbing and walking tight ropes we learned about group leadership, team productivity, effective communication, adaptability, and analytical problem solving.
